Luis is a much loved horse with an incredible naturally careful jump and a wonderful bascule that I competed to be an incredibly successful A grade before regrettably selling him. He was owned for 2 years by another rider who competed him at the same level but got very left behind over some fences which resulted in her yanking the horse over the fence.

Lu started jumping very hollow as he braced himself over his fences causing incorrect muscle development, constant discomfort in his back and for the first time in his competitive history he began to jump inverted and knock poles as he dropped his back end over every fence.

I missed the horse terribly and bought him back with the hope of being able to change him back into the wonderful horse he was. After Peter saw Lu for a few sessions his jumping technique, bascule and carefulness improved dramatically with every week so much so that one wouldn't even believe him to be the same horse today.

Lu's body has changed completely after Peter loosened up his back giving him to confidence to use his body to the full again in his daily exercise and jumping. This awesome little horse is back to being a consistent winner at 1.30m level upwards, seldom has poles, is adored by his trainers for his talent and his scope has increased dramatically simply because he is using his full jumping technique again. Luidsoir owes his regained success and technique to Peter and to this day Luidsoir sees Peter every second month for maintenance sessions.
